Chapter 131.2: Beat Up That Crybaby
The little phoenix must have learnt to call itself little lord from the little green dragon the other day. There were so many good forms of address to use but it just had to choose to call itself a little lord. The little bird has such a goofy look and not the slightest bit dignified or majestic. What kind of a lord was that?
Moreover, it was such a glutton that it could not help casting its eyes to glance at the spirit stones, that aggrieved look on its face so amusing to watch.
Mu Wushuang then kept all the spirit stones into the dimensional space and purposely said in a loud voice in there.
“Little Vermy and Little Bird, the two of you better keep a tight watch on these spirit stones and not let a certain little fella steal them to eat.”
The little phoenix harrumphed in indignation. The little fella she was talking about was clearly him isn’t it! ?
It was not going to steal!
It had its own dignity and principles you know! ?
Hmph!
“Yes Mistress!”
Little Vermy and Little Bird responded with a big grin on their faces.
They were well aware that the Mistress was just teasing the little phoenix.
Mu Wushuang likes to tease the little divine beast very much. In the beginning right after it was contracted to her, it was able to read her thoughts which was something that she wasn’t really pleased about. No one would like having someone else pry into their mind. It was only when she flipped through the ancient texts in the dimensional space that she discovered that she can use her consciousness to isolate her mind’s thoughts from the divine beast’s.
So once she isolated her thoughts from the divine beast and it was no longer able to read her mind, Mu Wushuang found it amusing to tease the little divine beast.
Especially when she saw that blur and goofy looking head on the little divine beast, it just made it funnier.
“Little Phoenix, call me your Mistress and I’ll give you spirit stones to eat.”
Mu Wushuang continued to tease.
“This little lord will not!”
The little phoenix said with fierce pride.
Suddenly, dozens of spirit stones appeared before its eyes, shiny and glittering, more mesmerizing than the stars in the sky. It could not turn its eyes away and could only gulp down its own saliva in its mouth.
“Just do it once alright? Will you, Little Phoenix?”
“Hmph! For… For the sake of the spirit stones, this little lord will force myself to call you that just once.”
The little phoenix started to say reluctantly.
“Sure! Then force yourself to call me that just once then!”
Mu Wushuang immediately said, feeling highly amused.
“Mis… Mistress! Alright! I did it already!”
The moment the words came out from the little phoenix’s mouth, it quickly turned its head away, not wanting anyone to look at its face.
In its mind, it was thinking: That… That wasn’t really that hard to do afterall.
“Good! Here, eat!”
Mu Wushuang stroked the divine beast’s little head with her mental consciousness, and then piled several hundred pieces of spirit stones right onto its nest.
