Chapter 125.1: Tired of Living
Gongsun Hai was ecstatic. That was because Young Master Helian had brought up the topic that he wanted to bring Song Yiyang back to the Helian Family Clan to groom him just the day before.
He knew very well the kind of might and influence the Helian Family Clan possessed up in the Vast Sea Continent and to Yiyang, that was as good as letting Yiyang soar up into the skies in an instant.
Little did he ever expect that his good grandson would refuse such a great opportunity!
He was angry and frustrated, and in a fit of anger, he locked his grandson up.
He could not possibly bring Yiyang bound and gagged before Helian Yuan as the man might suddenly not want to take Yiyang in a fit of anger.
After contemplating on it for a long while, he finally decided to feed his grandson with an elixir that would temporarily affect his mind before he brought him over.
Even if Yiyang were to hate him after he woke up, he couldn’t help it as he thought that his grandson would come to understand why he had to do this in time to come.
“Mm.”
Helian Yuan glanced at Song Yiyang standing behind Gongsun Hai and then shifted his gaze away with a slight nod of his head.
His mind was filled with the image of a particularly lovely and beautiful figure and he had not noticed the abnormality in Song Yiyang at all.
However, Helian Duo had noticed it, but she did not say anything. She had heard from the two sisters Mu Ningxue and Mu Ningwei that Song Yiyang liked Mu Wushuang as well and she thought that that could be the reason why Song Yiyang was not willing to follow them back to the Vast Sea Continent.
She just did not understand why every single one of these men liked Mu Wushuang. Whenever she thought of that cold pair of eyes that carried a tinge of contempt in them, her heart would fill up with so much anger till it hurt.
She was rather fond of Song Yiyang herself, so she chose to be blind to the petty trick that Gongsun Hai employed here.
Just wait till they get to the Vast Sea Continent, and Song Yiyang would come to realize the difference between a low level realm and a high level one. By then, the man would quickly have forgotten all about Mu Wushuang completely.
The thing worrying her now was to find a way to pacify her elder brother instead.
“Duo Er, tell me now. Did you speak to Miss Mu and tell her everything clearly?”
Helian Yuan asked as he stared at Helian Duo with a sharp penetrating gaze.
“She… She promised that she would come. How would I know why she is still not here…..”
Helian Duo replied guiltily.
Time was almost up anyway, it wouldn’t matter if she didn’t turn up. Would her elder brother really blame her for the rest of their lives just because of a woman?
Helian Yuan watched how she reacted and his eyes narrowed dangerously while his chest heaved vigorously, a clear sign that rage was boiling inside.
“Good for you Helian Duo. You’ve even learned to openly agree but covertly oppose and mislead! Have you not realized that she is the only woman I have come to like?”
“She was the one who decided not to come…..”
“Enough! You must have said something to her and that is why she does not dare get close to me!”
Helian Yuan could still remember that sweet enamouring smile on her face after he applied the medicine for her.
