Chapter 33.2: When One is Shameless, They’re Invincible

I know that you have always wanted to get married so much, and haven’t you always loved and cherished His Highness the Fourth Prince wholeheartedly all this time? Why have you come to pester the Prince Regent now instead? Your Second Aunt knows that you must be doing this just to spite the Fourth Prince aren’t you? Come now, go back with us. The Fourth Prince has said that it was all just a misunderstanding and he will personally apologize to you tomorrow, and he even said he will bring you on a boat cruise!”

Listening up till that point, Mu Wushuang laughed scornfully to herself in her heart.

So this is the main point they wanted to make here. When the second branch family saw that she had managed to latch onto such a powerful entity like the Imperial Uncle, and realized that they would not be able to manipulate her anymore, they had immediately come to try to pry her away from the Imperial Uncle, so that the Imperial Uncle would not be involved in the matter anymore.

It could be seen that Lady Zhang was rather good with her words in this instance. Not only did she establish that Mu Wushuang did not have any real feelings for Long Moshen, she also implied that she only had the Fourth Prince, Ximen Kang, in her heart, and her coming here to the Prince Regent’s palace now was merely to spite Ximen Kang. Everything that she said here was merely an attempt to make the Imperial Uncle hate a girl who was as fickle minded as her, and was merely making use of him.

On the other hand, they knew very well that Mu Wushuang liked Ximen Kang and were trying to use Ximen Kang as bait, to lure her into leaving with them, to get her out of the Prince Regent’s palace. As once there is no relationship between her and the Prince Regent anymore, Yuheng and Wushuang would really become fish on the cutting board, prepped and ready to be sliced and diced up as they pleased.

If the original owner of that body was the one standing there, maybe she would have immediately agreed to leave with them.

But the body’s original body was dead, and it was a completely different soul inhabiting it, so it was destined that their calculations would fall sorely short.

When Lady Zhang and Mu Ningxue saw that Mu Wushuang was not saying anything, a flicker of scorn and ridicule rose in their hearts. This useless good for nothing still has not changed. She hasn’t even warmed herself enough from latching onto the Imperial Uncle’s great thigh so she cannot allow the Imperial Uncle to misunderstand that she was merely making use of him. She couldn’t even be bothered to look at the ugly hypocritical faces of the bunch of them from the second branch family as she went to catch up with the Imperial Uncle in a hurry, sweetly helping him push his wheelchair.
