Chapter 48.3: Utterly Shameless Thug

Mu Wushuang almost wanted to puke. Is Ximen Kang really too blind to see? Isn’t it clear enough that she absolutely detests him? Who is throwing a tantrum with him? How shameless can he be! ?

Isn’t he just too full of himself?

“Scram!”

Mu Wushuang did not even want to see that disgusting face of his for another second.

After spitting out that one word, she turned her head around and just walked away from there.

The people around wanted to burst out in laughter but they did not dare to, holding it in till their faces turned red. It had always been Mu Wushuang who was always pestering the Fourth Prince in the past, and His Highness had always told her to scram, but the situation was now completely reversed.

When Princess Tian Xiang saw Mu Wushuang walking away, she became so anxious she stood there stomping her feet. What about my Dark Red Lotus! ?

Ximen Kang’s face turned a metallic green shade. He just could not imagine that the girl who had always pestered him endlessly back then would actually tell him to scram!

Did she think that she would gain more of his attention by doing that?

He really wished for nothing more than to be able to cut her up into a thousand pieces! How dare she show him such disrespect out in public! Not giving him any face at all!

What a hateful woman!

But he did not dare to do anything to her now. Because the Prince Regent’s Steward Wang and her bodyguard were there with her, and he would not never dare to touch the Imperial Uncle’s people!

And he was absolutely certain that Mu Wushuang was only doing this to spite him, and it would not be long before she would be unable to hold herself back any longer. She would then come look for him of her own accord when that happens.

Just wait and see Mu Wushuang. This Prince wanted to be nice and friendly to you but you were the one who rejected it!

……

Seated in the horse carriage with her beautiful little brother, Mu Wushuang waited till the road became less bumpy before she said to him.

“With you being so smart, I’m sure that you must have guessed it. Haha, I admit that I was the one who cultivated those elixirs. I am now an Elixir Refiner. Wait till I get the Dark Red Lotus melded with my consciousness and I will soon be able to cultivate an elixir that will cure you of your condition. Your elder sis here said that I will cure you, and I will definitely keep my word!”

Mu Yuheng was rather moved, and the rims of his eyes turned red. He had not thought that it was because she wanted to cultivate an elixir for him when she bought the Dark Red Lotus. He really wanted to be able to talk so badly, so that he could say something to her.

“Regardless whether it is my ability to summon demon beasts, or have become an Elixir Refiner, they are both miraculous encounters that happened to me. I will use these miracles that I have been blessed with to make both of us stand above the rest, to become people who did not need to fear anyone in the Imperial Court or people from any great powers. As long as we attain a high enough level of cultivation, we will be respected no matter where we go.”

Mu Wushuang was not going to tell him that she had passed through time and space, and was not going to mention anything about her jade bracelet’s dimension space. These would be her most closely kept secrets and would forever remain buried in her heart.

But she wanted her beautiful little brother to live with hope in his heart, and not continue to wallow in depression, so she gave him a shot of confidence and something to look forward to.

“Your elder sis is telling you now that I am able to cultivate now, and I possess a unique spirit body of divinity, so my cultivation will progress a lot faster than others. Moreover, you will also come to regain your gifted talents, so you have to believe in me. Elder Sis will not disappoint you.”

This was someone who had been willing to give up his own life for her, and the blood flowing in their bodies was the same.

Mu Yuheng nodded his head gravely, his eyes moist and misty. He quickly lowered his head, not wanting to let her see him being weak.

He had endured it all for so long already, so waiting a little longer was alright with him. Even if he could not be cured and would remain mute forever, he would have no complaints.

“Wait a minute! Something’s not right!”

Mu Wushuang’s face suddenly turned wary.
