Chapter 88.1: Evicted and Confiscated
When Yun Hai saw that Liu Jiaojiao was refusing to leave, he gave orders to two other guards to physically grab Liu Jiaojiao and her personal maid Ding Xiang, giving the woman no choice but to leave.
“Bam!” Liu Jiaojiao was properly thrown out of the palace, and several bundles of her possessions covered in dirt and dust were tossed to the ground right after her before the palace doors were tightly shut in her face.
“Isn’t that the lady cousin from the Prince Regent’s palace? Why has she been thrown out?”
“She must have committed a wrong. Otherwise why would she be thrown out of the palace out of the blue?”
Someone started to gossip as they pointed their fingers at Liu Jiaojiao and her maid.
Liu Jiaojiao’s face was streaked with dirt and covered in smudges of tears and snot, a proper wreck. She was angry and in distress, but could do nothing but to grit her teeth and run away quickly.
She had to get out of there quick or she might die of embarrassment!

Even the Emperor was not helping him, so he knew it was not going to turn out good for him. But he was highly aggrieved at the unfairness. Mu Yuheng killed his son, was it wrong of him to exact revenge upon them?
And he had been dragged to become a victim as well!
That is so unfair!
But did he ever consider the fact that his own son was the one who used underhanded means to destroy the person’s dantian and severed that person’s meridians in the first place. His own son was the one who initiated the challenge and agreed to sign up for that duel to the death himself. No one pushed his son’s head down to force him to put his palm down to seal himself to the duel!
