Chapter 46.1: It’s Been a Long Time

 

Yan Ning Luo was really terrifying when she became serious. The Faint Mist Sect often held contests among their sects’ inner disciples and she had always gotten first place every year. “It’s a deal.” Yan Ning Luo agreed to it, and her gaze then drifted over to Qing Ye Li on its own, to discover that he had not been paying attention to the fight at all but was instead looking rather distracted, his mind elsewhere. Yan Ning Luo could not help but feel a wave of disappointment wash over her.

  1. Everyone else seems to be under the impression that Qing Ye Li transmigrated from his original world, but to me it seems more like BOTH his body and soul were TRANSPORTED from his original world into this one. I don’t think it was ever actually said that he died in his original world and if it was only his soul that transmigrated, the white hair that he gained in his original world shouldn’t have been passed to his new body. Am I the only one who got that impression?

  2. Isn’t it more shameful to know that the guy probably doesn’t even remember you? Just him saying, “Don’t remember” would make you wanna dig a hole for yourself. Like how thick is your skin to look at someone with gentle eyes in the face of your fiance and who knows how many noble families?   6. Ok. As a woman I have to say isn’t she too thick faced. I’m not against being the first to act if you like someone but QYL doesn’t even seem to remember or care to remember (much less looking) at her. I’m thinking after all her explanation about how and when she met him, he’d still look at her indifferently and say he doesn’t remember it happening… (With everyone looking, including the king and her father, and fiance she might as well had confessed her undying love for the dude).

  7. ….. Well then, this one’s lust knows no bounds, not even caring for her kingdom’s face in the least.

    Not that I dislike this attitude, but in this setting, with the other party clearly not aware or not caring about her…. Her face is a bit thick for my taste.
