Chapter 106.2: Woman of Destiny
The Ninth Elder had not been subtle with his words and he believed that his young disciple would definitely understand what he meant. Moreover, many of the women playthings he had toyed with were presented to him by this good disciple of his.
Mu Ningwei was disgusted in her heart but her mouth went on to reply coyly: “As long as Master ensures that your disciple gets that phenomenal treasure, your disciple will give Master anything he wants.”
“Excellent! You’re truly Master’s good disciple! Master has a dual cultivation technique to pass down to you, and Master will personally check your progress on it after we are done here.”
The Ninth Elder’s eyes shone with a lecherous glint, and he handed a skill manual with instructions inscribed on strips of jade over to Mu Ningwei, not forgetting to sneak a touch of her smooth skinned hand.
Mu Ningwei had to lower her head a moment in order to hide the hatred and disgust in her eyes, and when she raised her head up, the look on her face had become coy and bashful.
The Ninth Elder was very satisfied. He went over to speak to the Crown Prince for a moment and immediately went soaring through the air towards the inner reaches of the mountains to investigate.
The Ninth Elder was a Spirit King level pugilist afterall, and if he had not been surrounded and attacked by a group of level six demon beasts the night before yesterday, he would not have been reduced to such a sorry state.
The trip back and forth took the Ninth Elder slightly more than half a day’s time.
“Ninth Elder, did anything big happen inside the inner reaches?” Song Yiyang asked in a grave voice.
“An earthquake rocked the inner reaches of these mountains and it crushed quite a number of high leveled demon beasts. Such a strange occurrence must be a signal that a mysterious treasure is about to appear. People from many sects and other great powers are already making their way into the inner reaches, so this mysterious treasure should be rather extraordinary.” The Ninth Elder said truthfully.
“Mysterious treasure?”
The eyes of many others immediately lit up, and those who were clamouring to go home earlier were suddenly not mentioning a word about that anymore.
It must be known that it was very rare for a mysterious treasure to manifest, and everyone was eager to grab the chance in obtaining the mysterious treasure for themselves!
“Was the Ninth Elder able to gather any more info?” Song Yiyang continued to ask.

He told a lie here. Though there were signs that the secret treasure was going to appear, he did not know the exact time that it was going to manifest, so he would have to go back and keep a tight watch on that place.
He would only need to get away from the group, as he already had a plan in mind.
The Ninth Elder then said to Song Yiyang.
“Your Highness, this old man has already sent word about this to the Sect Leader, and the Sect Leader will send people into the inner reaches to investigate very soon. If Your Highness wants, you can go in together with them. As for this old man here, I am thinking that I will just take my little disciple inside to broaden her horizons.”
