Chapter 114.1: God Slayer Palace

 

Even in the Vast Sea Continent where mighty powers were as numerous as clouds in the skies, the God Slayer Palace was an existence that stood among the ranks at the front.

It was because of that reason that the God Slayers Palace grew very quickly in might, turning from a small third rate sect into one of the mightiest powers within the span of a hundred years’ time.

The parents of their Young Lord, Gu Xinghai were both regular mortals but he turned out to be highly gifted, possessing the Heavenly Spirit Root. He fought and clawed his way up every single step of the way from a very young age, to finally climb onto the seat of Young Palace Lord, achieving it through his astonishing perseverance and sly treachery.

Naturally, his powers weren’t weak, his bones merely at thirty years of age but had already attained the Spirit Reverend’s third stage in his cultivation. Barring anything unexpected, he would be able to ascend into the Spirit Deity level within a hundred years to become the Palace Lord of the God Slayers Palace!

As the Young Palace Lord, he would definitely have countless life saving superior grade spirit artifacts in his possession, and it would not be surprising for him to be able to kill a seventh or eighth stage Spirit Reverend cultivator above him.

But among those three men and a woman from the God Slayers Palace, except for the woman Tang Zixin who was at the Spirit Master level, all the three men possessed the Spirit Reverend level in their cultivation. Though that was the case, these powerful people were still killed and some got gravely injured. Moreover…..

Gongsun Hai continued to relay the information he managed to gather.

“The people from the God Slayers Palace came to the Nine Heavens Continent about the same time that the Young Master and the Young Miss yourselves got here. They were received by the Sect Leader of the Great Spirit Sect and their Elders at that time. However, it seems like… the entire Great Spirit Sect has been obliterated!”

“Fully annihilated! ?”

Helian Duo jumped to her feet.

“That’s great! Any sect that is in cahoots with the God Slayers Palace could not possibly be anything good anyway. But who would be able to deal such a devastating and ruthless strike? And Lady Luck must be smiling upon that Gu Xing Hai and Tang Zixin, for them to be able to survive!”

Helian Yuan spoke up in a deep low voice. “I think their lives were intentionally spared.”
