Chapter 36.3: Against Heaven’s Laws If She Doesn’t Slim Down
All of them thought Mu Wushuang would not be able to keep that up for long. However, for the next several days, she would run five or six rounds around the palace’s perimeter, and the sandbags around her legs had been replaced with metal. She would also spar with the guards at the training square in the evenings, without missing a single day.
“Young Miss, you’ve really lost weight. Look, your clothes are too big for you now!”
One morning, Sang Lan cried out while she was helping Mu Wushuang get dressed.
“It’s just a little tiny bit.”
She had worked on shedding her weight for so many days, and adding the time she spent in the dimensional space, it would already be twelve days at least. But she had merely lost about ten catties and no one would notice it if they did not look closely at her. Afterall, this body’s original weight had been really heavy from the start and she still looked fat as of that moment.
She had not thought that it would be so hard for her to lose weight in this body.
The road to a slim figure was still far and arduous.
But Sang Lan was very happy. The first place the Young Miss had lost weight in was her face, and her facial features were no longer squeezed so tightly together, and she looked so much better than before. Sang Lan thought to herself, that the Young Miss will surely look very beautiful after she slims down as the Young Miss’ younger brother was so handsome looking, so the Young Miss would definitely not lose out to him.
After finishing her morning run, Mu Wushuang took a refreshing bath before she made her way to the dining hall to have her breakfast.
Unexpectedly, Liu Jiaojiao whom she had not seen for the past several days had also come to have breakfast there as well, and she was sitting right by the Imperial Uncle.
“Eh? Isn’t it the lady cousin? Are you feeling better? Are you still vomiting blood?”
Mu Wushuang took her seat, and extended a “friendly” greeting to the woman.

Liu Jiaojiao’s face immediately changed slightly, and she then responded in a gentle voice: “Thank you for Little Sister’s concern. I am much better.”
Ptui! Who is your little sister! ?
“I do not have an elder sister as old as the lady cousin, so the lady cousin can just address me by my name.” Mu Wushuang said with a smile, as she got Sang Lan to scoop out a bowl of plain porridge for her.
Liu Jiaojiao had not expected that Mu Wushuang would speak to her in such a direct manner without the required propriety and her face immediately froze frigidly. She hated it the most when someone says she is old.
It took her awhile to regain her composure and she then continued to say in a gentle tone: “Are you just taking plain porridge everyday? No wonder I feel like you’ve lost some weight. But I think that women are most adorable when they’re plump, unlike me, who can’t seem to put on any weight no matter how much I eat. I really envy girls who are like you Wushuang.”
Inwardly, she was twistedly thinking to herself in her mind that she had not seen the girl only for a few days but Wushuang has lost quite a bit of weight, and her ugly face looked quite a lot better as well. Her eyes were large and lively, her nose bridge high and perky, her lips carrying a natural cherry tinge, and her skin was fair and smooth as fine jade. Although still considered fat, but her flesh was firm and adorably chubby, and could not be said to be ugly in anyway anymore.
If things were to continue on like this, Mu Wushuang will really become a threat to her!
“Hoho. No wonder the lady cousin’s pallor is showing a sickly yellowish tinge. So it’s because of malnourishment. You must definitely watch out, as that will make a person age faster.”
Hmph! In a battle of words, she had never met anyone who was her match!
