Chapter 52.1: Playing Games To Win Favour

 

The guards instinctively halted their actions and the bunch of Imperial Physicians turned their eyes towards the door.

To see a round and plump figure, her skin fair as snow though her face looked haggardly tired as she came walking in.

“Imperial Uncle, they are innocent.”

Mu Wushuang said impressively to Long Moshen as she came striding in. 

Right right right! We’re really innocent! All the Imperial Physicians screamed in their hearts, their eyes gazing at Mu Wushuang like they were looking at their saviors.

“You’ve lost weight.”

The brows on Long Moshen’s godlike face knitted together when he saw the girl’s tired and haggard face, her eyes circled with dark shadows.

Your Highness! That is not the important point here is it? What’s important is that we’re innocent, so let us all go already will you?

The group of Imperial Physicians were almost losing their minds. 

Mu Wushuang was thoroughly exhausted. For the past twelve days in the dimensional space, she had not had a moment’s rest. She did not know the amount of herbs she had wasted before she was finally able to succeed in cultivating the elixir right at the last moment. Fortunately she was not too late.

So she didn’t have time to answer the Imperial Uncle, but just quickly said that he should not kill those people before rushing over to her beautiful little brother’s bedside, and pour the elixir in the bottle onto her hand.

Just as she was about to feed it into her beautiful little brother’s mouth, an Imperial Physician’s face contorted up in shock as he exclaimed loudly. “Wait just a moment! That….. That is the Pristine Green Elixir! ?”

“What! ? The Pristine Green Elixir that’s already lost to the world! ?”

“That cannot be possible! Imperial Physician Zhang must be mistaken!”

“No, this humble official is most definitely not mistaken. It’s recorded in the ancient texts that a finished Pristine Green Elixir emits the refreshing fragrant scent of fresh green fruits and that was why it was called the Pristine Green Elixir. Whether it is in terms of colour or looks, that looks exactly just like it is described in the ancient texts!”

Imperial Physician Zhang cried out in delight.

“Yes it is.”

The other Imperial Physicians shook their head in disbelief as Mu Wushuang replied in an indifferent voice, before she went ahead to feed the bright green elixir into her beautiful little brother’s mouth.

Imperial Physician Zhang struggled out from the guard’s grasp and came over closer to observe Mu Yuheng.

After the elixir went into his mouth, a sheen of sweat broke out over Mu Yuheng’s face. The colour on his face was still extremely pale, his eyes tightly shut and was still unconscious. A short while passed and he suddenly looked like he was in great agony before he groaned out subconsciously as blood trickled down a corner of his mouth, the dark black liquid soaking through the pillow under his head.

That did not look like he was being cured, but seemed to have been poisoned instead.

The other Imperial Physicians became jittery again, worried that Mu Yuheng’s life would expire away, and they would be buried together with him.

But a smile broke on Imperial Physician Zhang’s old wizened face and after he took Mu Yuheng’s pulse, he stuck his thumb up and said: “Amazing.”
