Chapter 55.2: Plot, Entrap
The sisters Mu Ningxue and Mu Ningwei watched the sedan go far into the distance and they almost vomited out blood from rage. They had thought that they would have Mu Wushuang bring them in and did not think that she would not give them the slightest bit of face at all but even treated them with scorn and contempt. Now, they were left standing here in the cold, feeling helplessly awkward and embarrassed.
“If only I was the one sitting in there! What right does that good for nothing have to be the one! ?”
Mu Ningwei screamed out in her heart, thinking that that man whose grace and elegance was truly like that of the gods, was not someone that the useless Mu Wushuang was worthy of at all, and only a woman like her, the pride of the Heavens, would be a perfect match for him!
And what she found most absolutely detestable, was that the position that belonged to her had been usurped by that useless good for nothing!

“Your Highness, you’ve reached your destination.”
From outside, the shrill nasal voice of a eunuch sounded.
Mu Wushuang quickly opened the curtain, and was about to climb out.
Right at that moment, a large icy cold hand grasped her wrist.
A series of goose pimples rose up, running right through her. Imperial Uncle, we’re out here in the open, privy to so many pairs of eyes, what do you think you’re doing! ?
“Shuang Er.”
She turned her head around warily to look at him.
Long Moshen was looking straight at her, his brows slightly knitted as he finished the rest of what he wanted to say. “Stay close beside this Prince here tonight, and do not wander off on your own.”
Mu Wushuang heaved a silent sigh of relief. So that’s what he wanted to say. She had thought that he had sudden urges to satisfy@
“Got it Imperial Uncle. I will not go wandering all over the place.”
Mu Wushuang said smilingly.
Long Moshen did not say anything else but his deep and unfathomable gaze was chilly, his body exuding a frosty aura that made people afraid to approach. Mu Wushuang did not know what had suddenly gotten him in such a bad mood, for him to be acting like a glacial mountain that could suddenly erupt with a terrifyingly explosive avalanche.
When they arrived at the main hall where the Imperial Banquet was held, there were already quite a number of people there. When everyone saw that Long Moshen had arrived, all of them stopped talking and drinking, every single one of them bowing in greeting to the man, not daring to look at him in the eye as they reverently addressed him respectfully as “Nine Thousand Years”. It was not known in all that reverence everyone showed, just how much of it was respect, and how much of it was from fear of that man.
Mu Wushuang sat herself right beside the Imperial Uncle and no one dared to come close to them. Even the number of pairs of eyes who looked in their direction were very few which suited Mu Wushuang just right, enjoying the peace and quiet.
Maybe it was because she was being so obedient, Mu Wushuang felt that the frostiness the Imperial Uncle exuded had decreased by quite a bit.
It was at that moment that a eunuch came over to tell the Imperial Uncle that His Majesty had summoned him.
Long Moshen nodded his head expressionlessly, and then turned towards Mu Wushuang.
The moment Mu Wushuang met his eyes, she immediately knew what he wanted to say and she quickly replied: “Don’t worry Imperial Uncle, I will not wander off.”
