Chapter 81.3: Why Is She Not Dead?

Upon saying that, he then glided his way softly forward with a celestial air about him, passing the group fleetingly, before disappearing from sight a moment later.

Mu Wushuang was caught speechless.

Fortunately she had not pinned her hopes on anyone, but would rather depend on herself than others. She would still be able to protect herself at least, or she could very well just fight her way out, through a wake of blood behind her!

Putting aside her beast summoning, with just the highly lethal poisons she had developed recently, she would not have a problem killing off half the people in the Imperial Palace. Although it was tightly guarded everywhere in the Imperial Palace, it was an enormous and vast place. She did not have to get out from there immediately, but could just hide herself first, and an opportunity for her to escape would surely arise.

Following behind the old eunuch, they then came to the Imperial Garden.

The snow had all melted away by that time, and a great amount of flowers had been brought out from the greenhouses. The Imperial Garden was filled with myriad blooms, a breathtaking sight to behold.

The old eunuch left, and she was the only person there in the Imperial Garden. There wasn’t even a single palace maid around.

She then came to discover that all the food and tea laid out on the table were laced with poison, and the slightest touch on any of them with her hand would kill a person immediately.

How venomous hearted… If she was any regular person, she would already be dead and bleeding through all her body’s orifices.

Not only that, she also noticed that there wasn’t a single animal within the Imperial Palace, unable to sense even a single pet. What did they do to have killed every single animal here in the Imperial Palace?

It must be because they were afraid she would summon the beasts and engage them in a massacre. She had noticed that security had been increased at the palace walls when she came in, filled with many highly skilled pugilists, in order to stop the demon beasts that might be summoned from outside the Imperial Palace.

It must be said that the Emperor had really put in a lot of thought into it, in order to have her killed.

But unfortunately for him, all that effort would be for naught. As her cultivation powers grew, her beast summoning ability had also grown stronger as well. She was only able to summon up to level five demon beasts before, but she was now capable of summoning up to level six demon beasts.

Among level six demon beasts, there were flying beasts that moved fast as lightning. If she wanted to, those demon beasts would reach the Imperial Palace from the mountains in just a few breaths’ time with her summons.

The Emperor’s knowledge of her powers was based on what she was in the past, but she was now a different person from before.

However, Mu Wushuang did not summon any demon beast, but just smoothened out her clothes with a pat before taking a seat.

She knew that a number of highly skilled experts were watching her, so pretending not to know anything, she stretched her hand out to pick up a piece of rose cake, and slowly put it into her mouth.

Mm, it doesn’t taste all that bad. The Imperial Kitchen’s skills are different just as she thought.

Right after that, she tried the water chestnut cake, fortune cake, yokan jelly, yogurt, pineapple tart, and drank two cups of tea…..

The group of highly skilled experts watched and stared till their eyes almost popped out of their sockets.

All of them were stunned!

Why….. Why….. Why is she not dead! ?
